Our College Ministry is designed to help you successfully navigate your college years in an environment of encouragement, community, and Christ’s love. No other church in America loves college students more that the First Hattiesburg family! We invite you to partner with us in all that God is doing through our church and our College Ministry!
First Hattiesburg will challenge you to grow in your relationship with Christ through the study of scripture and also by putting hands and feet to your faith. First offers many opportunities for you to serve others in our church family and our community. Many students serve in our internship program in the areas of media, tech services, guest services, Preschool, Children’s, and Youth Ministry. There are also many mission opportunities that you can be a part of through First, both locally and around the world.

OCG (Off Campus Groups)
Off Campus Group (OCG) is one of the most exciting opportunities that is offered to college students. OCG gives you the opportunity to get to know new people, strengthen friendships, dig into Bible study, and enhance your relationship with God. OCG is not an ordinary small group experience. OCG gives you the chance to get to know people away from the church building in a relaxed setting. There are several different OCG times and locations for you to choose from. We know that as a college student your schedule changes from semester to semester and OCG gives you an opportunity to remain connected in a community of believers despite your crazy schedule. So, if you desire to make new friends and get to know God better, sign up for an OCG today!
